Eight Sessions

This course is offered online via the easy-to-use Zoom program.

In the spirit of April, National Poetry Month, we will immerse ourselves in that most essential of forms, the sonnet. Beloved for brevity, intensity and flexibility, it will provide a ritual way for us to respond to masters of the form, past and present, all of whom invigorate it with unique voices. We will practice multiple ways to experience sonnets as daily inspiration and to deepen our understanding of poetry. Designed for readers and writers alike, there will be an option of additional sessions for any participants who write poems during the term and wish to share them. No required text.

LIMITED REGISTRATION: 15
