Who are we humans and where did we come from?  Who came before us and where are they now? What were the critical steps by which we and our ancient ancestors evolved? When did this process begin?  Who were and are the critical players in paleoanthropology?  What are fossils; where and how are they found; what do they tell us; and how can we know for sure?  What key evolutionary questions are as yet unanswered; and what will it take to discover the answers?  Example: is there really a “missing link” and, if so, where is it?  This is a course for non-specialist beginners taught by a non-specialist beginner. All you need is curiosity.
