Examination of Biblical sources and comparison to archaeological findings. We will examine where archaeology supports the Biblical narrative and where it does not.

This class will be hybrid - both in person and online.  To register for this class, please choose either online or in person version.

Phil Halpern has studied Bible in Hebrew Day Schools, Gratz College in Philadelphia, The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, The Greenberg College in Jerusalem, and was in a doctoral program at Dropsie College in Philadelphia. He has lived in Israel as a student and graduate student. While living there and in several visits he has been to many of the sites that will be mentioned in the course.
