1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8 & 2/15

Five Sessions

This course is offered online via the easy-to-use Zoom program.

Tuesday at the Movies this winter will screen five of the “coolest” films of all time. We’ll discuss what makes them cool, are they still cool today, and is it the film, the director, the actors or all of them that makes them cool. As is traditional, there will be lighthearted quizzes with prizes.

The films:

January 18: Rebel Without a Cause

January 25: Le Samaourai

February 1: Bullitt

February 8: Casablanca

February 15: The Big Lebowski

Howard Arkans holds a BA and MD from Stanford University. Currently retired, Howard is an OLLI past president. This is his twelfth year of teaching about and sharing films.
