Romantic Comedies, or rom-coms, go back to Shakespeare’s days with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, All’s Well That Ends Well and As You Like It (just to name a few). Hollywood has a long history of this popular genre going back to the 1930s. We will trace the evolution of rom-coms culminating with what some say is the greatest Hollywood rom-com, When Harry Met Sally. Quizzes with prizes will occur each week.
