This course will be offered in a future semester

Back by popular demand, OLLI will offer a behind-the-scenes preview of the 2020 performing arts scene in our area featuring guest speakers from some of our region’s most prominent performing arts organizations. Find out in advance what awaits on stages at some of our premier venues, as well as some award-winning “outliers” in the Berkshires. Once again we will begin our series with the “Critics Invitational” and hear their exchange of ideas and hopes about the coming local season in a roundtable discussion.

Naomi Spatz is the co-founder of New York’s Golden Squirrel Theatre.  She created “Teachers Night on Broadway “and “Kids Day on Broadway.”  The arts run in the family, as she is married to playwright and OLLI instructor Steven Somkin.

Nancy Valeholds a MFA from Northwestern University where she taught acting.  Ms. Vale is involved in various theatre programs in the New York metro area and has appeared in local theatre productions.
