Macroeconomics studies the behavior and performance of an economy as a whole. Together we will look at the big picture and explore monetary and fiscal policy, behavioral economics (do people make rational economic choices? Good question!), international trade, and political economics. We’ll also take a look at Modern Monetary Theory, a once obscure heterodox theory of macroeconomics which is ‘having a moment’ these days.
