OLLI has big plans for 2020! While we’re hard at work on even more, here’s a sneak peek at some our speakers, outings and more.
Remember: Plans, like people, are subject to change, so use a soft pencil on your calendars!
Registration will generally be available three to six weeks in advance of the event.
Thurs April 2: Join us for a tour of Arrowhead, Herman Melville’s Pittsfield home where he wrote his legendary epic. This will complement our planned spring course on Moby Dick.
May TBA: Join us for the annual OLLI Membership Meeting and Mona Sherman Lecture
Sat May 16: Professor Ilan Stavans of Amherst College joins our Distinguished Speaker Series with a talk on the effect of the administration’s immigration policies on Latin American culture.
June TBA: Continuing our celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage, we’ll take a tour of the Susan B. Anthony house in Adams, MA.
June TBA: Raise a glass to our extraordinary OLLI instructors at our Faculty Appreciation Party
Wed June 24: Enjoy a picnic lunch, private talk and matinee performance at Jacob’s Pillow, the world-renowned pioneer in contemporary dance on a historic 220-acre campus.
Sun June 28 & Mon 29: If you missed it last year or are simply hankering for more, we’ll return to Four Fat Fowls for an afternoon of artisanal cheeses and beautiful Hudson Valley scenery.
Mon July 6: Tour High Lawn Farm, the world famous Jersey cow Dairy farm dating from 1930’s. Meet the most beautiful doe-like faces of the bovine family!
Wed August 5: Bob Reiss speaks about “The Fate of the Arctic and its Impact on the U.S.”
Wed Sept 2 – 8: The OLLI Annual Art Show returns to Lenox Library!
Sat September 5: OLLI travels to the Mount Holyoke Art Museum to explore their collection of over 24,000 works of art and visual culture from around the world and through time.
Sat September 26: Local author & biographer Susan Dworkin explores ghostwriting.
Sun October 11: The annual OLLI theater brunch returns, with a delicious brunch made by our fabulous OLLI chefs and a matinee performance at Barrington Stage.
