In July 1925, two titans fought a battle that was not really about Scopes or monkeys.

Some say this trial was hardly a trial and we will study what actually happened. The battle

continues. We will review the Inherit the Wind version of the trial. Then, we will explore the

current fights about religion and the law in such Supreme Court cases as Trinity Lutheran

and Masterpiece Cake the Caplan v. Town of Acton, prohibiting the use of Community

Preservation Act funds to aid active houses of worship. Limited Registration - 30
