This course is a continuation of three previous courses covering the first four years of World War I, but it is not necessary to have attended any of the previous courses. We will look at the titanic military battles that resulted in the fighting ending in November 1918, along with the equally titanic struggles at Versailles to come up with a peace treaty. Finally, we will briefly discuss the aftermath of the war and the impact of the Treaty of Versailles.
