SESSION 1 — 10 to 11:30am • Meet in the Room G-12, Susan B Anthony Student Center at Berkshire Community College to discuss birds and their identification, songs, habitat preferences and the use of optics in birding. Designed for beginning- and intermediate level birders.

SESSIONS 2 THROUGH 6 — 8 to 9:30am • Meet at designated locations to practice birding techniques and bird song identification. This involves moderate walking. If it rains, the class will be held indoors from 10 to 11:30am.

Ed Neumuth, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania; private practice 1970-2005; led field trips for The Trustees of Reservations and Mass Audubon; conducts breeding-bird surveys for the Department of the Interior; past president, Hoffmann Bird Club; frequent OLLI instructor.
