Alisa Costa brings nearly 20 years of non-profit social justice advocacy experience to the Berkshire Bridges Working Cities
Challenge Initiative. In her role as Initiative Director, she works with key stakeholders across sectors to connect residents to
opportunity and break down barriers to success. Before moving to Pittsfield, Ms. Costa lived in New York’s Capital Region where
she worked for the New York Civil Liberties Union, New York AIDS Coalition, Family Planning Advocates of New York State, Hunger
Solutions New York, and most recently for New York State’s Medicaid program.
