This course will consider how the Trump Administration policy—in its first year and a half—has impacted the political developments of, and our interactions with, key countries in Latin America. The situation in Venezuela, relations with Cuba, our bilateral relationship with Mexico in light of “The Wall” and the renegotiation of NAFTA, will all be discussed. Relevant events elsewhere in the region will also receive attention.
